One person's perfect day on the water may be too hot for somebody else and too cold for the next person.  As a rental company, last minute cancellations are very costly.  At the same time, we understand things come up and we don’t feel it is right for you to lose your entire rental fee, if you have to reschedule.

 

Our Cancellation policy is simple and strict, but fair.

• You may cancel your reservation, during normal weather conditions, at any time up to 7 days prior to your rental, with a $100 cancellation fee.  So, if you cancel 7 days or more before your rental date, $100 will be subtracted from your rebooking code which will be issued to you.  If you cancel 6 days or less prior to your rental, you will not receive a rebooking code.

• We DO NOT give refunds, rather we will issue you a rebooking code.  You will receive a rebooking code by email or text within 5-7 business days.

• Bad weather cancellation: If the weather is bad due to high winds, lightning, flooding, or very heavy rain, you may cancel up to the day of your rental. You will NOT be charged the cancelation fee.  You will receive a raincheck rebooking code by email or text within 5-7 business days.

• We reserve the right to cancel any rental at any time due to extreme conditions deemed unsafe; you will receive a rain check rebooking code towards your next rental.

At Geaux Outdoors, we’re committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience on the water. To ensure transparency and fairness, please review our official policy regarding weather delays, equipment issues, and refunds:

 

Weather-Related Rebooking

​

If your scheduled rental is canceled due to unsafe weather conditions (such as lightning, heavy rain, or high winds at the time of your rental), you will receive a Rebooking Code equal to the full value of your original booking. This code can be used to reschedule for a future date.

 

Note: Cloudy skies, light rain, or personal weather preferences do not qualify as unsafe weather.

 

Mechanical Issues & Substitutions

In the event that your reserved boat is unavailable due to mechanical issues, Geaux Outdoors reserves the right to substitute a boat of equal or greater value at no additional cost to you.

 

• If the substituted boat is of lesser value, you will receive a Rebooking Code for the difference in rental cost.

 

No Refund Policy

 

Geaux Outdoors does not offer cash refunds for any reason.  All qualifying cancellations or substitutions will be addressed through the issuance of Rebooking Codes only.
